Buffalo Police Department shoots 92 dogs over three years: One unnamed cop shot dead 25 of the dogs

It is common for police to shoot dead dogs especially during search warrants but the Buffalo, NY police seem to be well ahead of many other departments in the USA.
The Buffalo Police Department is particularly infamous for shooting over 90 dogs in the last three years.
‘Police Kill Dog’ is a common headline across the nation. In fact, many online media outlets have a dedicated segment that regularly chronicles such acts by the police against dogs.
News station WGRZ-TV using the Freedom of Information Act, managed to uncover some startling statistics. The news station requested information about the Buffalo Police Department, more particularly about the use of force against animals.

The report the news agency received revealed that the Buffalo PD alone shot 92 dogs from Jan. 1, 2011 through Sept. 2014.

The shootings had alarmingly high mortality rate as seventy-three of those dogs died, while nineteen somehow survived, reported Opposing Views. In comparison to Cincinnati, a municipality of similar size, Buffalo’s numbers were more than three times.

Unsurprisingly, all Buffalo Police Chief of Detectives Dennis Richards had to say about the high number of dog executions was,
“The numbers are what the numbers are. “Certainly, no officer takes any satisfaction in having to dispatch a dog.”
Perhaps, he might have been wrong about the second sentence because detailed analysis of the report revealed that nearly 30 percent of these dog shootings in Buffalo were carried out by just one man.

This one cop, whose identity hasn’t been revealed, shot 26 dogs, killing 25 of them in the last three years.

On the other hand, if one looks at the 2012 Annual Discharge Report filed by the New York City

The Buffalo PD revealed that many of the dogs were shot dead during executions of what is commonly referred to as ‘No-Knock’ warrants.  The Buffalo police said most of the warrants were for people who were making, trading or consuming narcotics. It is a police tactic to murder the dog before serving the warrant even if the suspect turns out to be innocent.

Obviously attempting to downplay the numbers, Richards said,
“It’s a small percentage of the number of total search warrants executed or actions taken by police. The department has carried out 357 search warrant raids this year, most of which are in the relentless pursuit of the state’s immoral war on drugs.”
There have been numerous cases of police fatally shooting dogs. But perhaps the Buffalo PD may have to develop alternate ways to tackle the dogs without gunning them down. Some of these canines may even help the police.

Albuquerque police attending killogy courses to learn "the art of killing"

Albuquerque, New Mexico – Just over a week after the City of Albuquerque signed an agreement with the Department of Justice, promising to scale back aggressive police tactics and address police brutality, the Albuquerque Police Department has found themselves in the midst of another scandal.

This week, it was revealed that a retired Albuquerque Police Officer was teaching a class that was seemingly designed to instruct other cops on how to be more aggressive.

The class is run and operated by retired Lt. Col. Dave Grossman, and is called “killology – the study of killing.” The retired officer instructs a number of similar classes, including his most recent, “The Bulletproof Mind: Prevailing in Violent Encounters Before and After.”
Grossman Refers to himself as “World’s Leading Combat Authority.”

In his classes, Grossman instructs the officers to be “warriors”, and has even created promotional material for the classes that say “Are you prepared for battle?”

These classes were exposed earlier this month when officer Fernando Aragon promoted for one of Grossman’s lessons using a city email account.

Aragon now claims that he was not sending out the email to endorse the program, but to just “make the other officers aware of it.”

American citizens have pointed out that these classes are a sign of the aggressive culture that exists at the APD, and police departments across the country.

The mayor and the police chief have both refused to comment on the issue, stating that it was none of their business.

Oklahoma City Police Officer charged with sexual assault of THIRTEEN women

Police officer who sexaully assaulted over a dozen women in oklahoma city
Daniel Holtzclaw, alleged rapist cop

An Oklahoma City police officer will stand trial on dozens of charges alleging he sexually assaulted 13 women while on duty.

During the two-day preliminary hearing, prosecutors filed an additional four sex assault charges against Daniel Holtzclaw based on testimony, bringing the total number of charges to 36. The charges include six counts of first-degree rape, which carries a maximum sentence of life in prison, as well as sexual battery, forcible oral sodomy and indecent exposure.

Holtzclaw, 27, has pleaded not guilty to each count. Oklahoma County Special Judge Fred Doak allowed Holtzclaw, who is on leave, to remain free on $609,000 bail. He is due back in court for a pretrial conference on Jan. 21.

During the hearing, all 13 alleged victims gave graphic testimony about the sex acts they said they did not want to perform but did so because they were frightened.

"It was either that or the county jail," a 38-year-old woman said Tuesday of being forced to perform sex acts. The Associated Press does not identify people who have made allegations of sexual assault.
Another woman testified that Holtzclaw forced her to expose herself and have sex with him in April. "He was an officer. And I was scared. And I knew he could hurt me," she said.

Holtzclaw showed no reaction when the trial was ordered, and said nothing as he left the courtroom. His attorney did not immediately respond to a telephone call seeking comment.

During some of Tuesday's testimony, protesters outside of the courthouse could be heard five stories up, chanting "No Bail" and "Justice."

All of the alleged victims are black; Holtzclaw is listed as Asian or Pacific Islander in court records. It's not clear whether race played a role in the alleged crimes.

"Who am I to a police officer? I didn't know what was going to happen next," a 44-year-old woman who said she was forced to expose herself and perform oral sex said through tears.

Police began investigating Holtzclaw after a woman who testified Monday reported an alleged assault on June 18, and he was arrested in August. None of the other women who have spoken at the hearing reported incidents until detectives contacted them after opening an investigation.

"What am I going to do, call the cops? He was a cop," said a 17-year-old girl who told the courtroom Monday that Holtzclaw raped her on the front porch of her mother's home. Another witness, a 23-year-old woman, said Holtzclaw sexually assaulted her while she was high on drugs and handcuffed to a hospital bed.

"I just gasped," she said, adding that she felt shocked and disgusted by the behavior. The woman denied suggestions by the defense that she could have been hallucinating.
Holtzclaw, who had been with the department for three years, was initially accused of assaulting eight women and more charges were added when other victims came forward.

Raw: Arrest of Allentown man alleging excessive force
Holveck believing Vazquez was drunk began to ask him questions.

What should have been a routine check by Holveck quickly escalated into a violent arrest that left Vazquez with bruises and scrapes across his face and hands and psychological trauma.

Vazquez is suing in an excessive force lawsuit filed against Allentown and Holveck in U.S. District Court.
span>  Allentown police surveillance video of the July 26 arrest shows the officer reacting as Vazquez reaches into his right pocket for a cigarette. Holveck grabs Vazquez by the wrist and pulls him from the steps to the sidewalk behind a trash bin, which obscures the camera's view of all but Vazquez's right leg.

Then, two unidentified police officers approach to assist Holveck in the arrest. One of the officers bends over behind the trash can and throws three punches toward Vazquez on the ground. With each punch, the unidentified officer's arm and elbow are seen popping up from behind the trash bin. Five officers, in all, responded to the scene.

Vazquez, 28, of the 500 block of North Penn Street in Allentown, was treated for his injuries, including a black eye and bruises to the left side of his face, at Sacred Heart Hospital.

His Oct. 16 lawsuit, which alleges violations of the constitutional protection against unreasonable search and seizure and the guarantee of due process and equal protection under the law, is the third excessive-force suit Orloski has filed against Allentown and its police officers since September.

Alabama man brutally beaten by cops awarded $460k; only recieved $1000

View the beating video above

Anthony Warren was brutally beaten by 5 Birmingham, Alabama police officers while unconscious in 2009

Anthony Warren was recently awarded $460k by a jury but will only receive $1000.  The rest will go to his attorneys and to pay for court fees. The criminal was already clearly unconscious when the group of violent officers attacked him.

A court determined the five Birmingham, AL cops clearly used excessive force when they beat Warren after finally catching him at the end of a high-speed chase.  He was beaten with billy clubs and fists while out cold and was lucky to survive.

As proven by the lawsuit, the police cannot severely beat an already unconscious man just because they don't like him.

Dirty Baltimore cop caught on camera brutalizing man finally charged with assault & perjury

The above video from June shows crooked Baltimore cop Vincent Cosom beat victim Kollin Truss in an unprovoked attack

Vincent Cosom was not charged or disciplined for the beating until Truss' lawyer made the surveillance video public in October.  The officer was then charged on October 29th 2014 with second degree assault and perjury.

Officer Cosom was charged with perjury in addition to assault for making a sworn statement that he was assaulted first by the victim.  This was proven to be not true.  So, not only is Officer Cosom a dirty cop he is also a liar.

Cosom wrote that Truss dropped into a fighting stance and made threats. The video shows Cosom dart around a group of bystanders to get to Truss. Cosom lands a series of blows, including several delivered while another officer restrains Truss against the side of a bus shelter.

Police charged Truss with assault and other offenses, but a prosecutor reviewed the tape and concluded that it contradicted Cosom's account. The case was dropped. So after getting brutally beating for no reason by multiple cops the victim was arrested.

Over the past four years, the city of Baltimore has paid $5.7 million in court judgments and settlements in more than 100 civil suits alleging police brutality and other misconduct. Nearly all of the people involved in incidents leading to those lawsuits were cleared of criminal charges.

MCSD Sgt. Arthur Farra pushes resident Jerry Maynard  to the ground after calling 911 for help

The incident between Maynard and MCSD Sgt. Arthur Farra occurred after the ambulance had exited the parking area. The video surveillance that was captured from a neighbor’s camera shows Maynard and Farra walking toward one another and then you can see the officer shoving the male to the ground, where he remained for approximately 1-2 minutes before getting to his feet on his own accord.

Also present at the time the event played out before the camera was Cpl. E. Williams with the MCSD. After Maynard gets back on his feet, he is seen walking back toward his residence. The officers are recorded as they get in their cruisers and leave the scene.

As of now, Farra is on paid administrative leave until the investigation is complete. More information will be released on this incident as it becomes available.

Jerry Maynard had called 911 after experiencing chest pain the EMTs responded and said his vitals were normal.  He later called 911 again after continuing to get chest pains.  This is when Sgt. Two Corrupt New York Police Officers Facing Brutality Charges: Security video shows the cops beating a boy

Corrupt NYPD officers David Afanador and Tyraine Isaac appear in court in Brookly.

The two police officers pleaded not guilty to assault charges on Wednesday in the brutal beating of a teenage boy who never put up a fight. He was being questioned for marijuana possesion.

The boy was sucker punched and pistol whipped by cops all while surrendering with his hands in the air

The security video shows one of the officers(Isaac) hitting the teen with a roundhouse punch. Seconds later — as the teen backs away, raises his hands and leans against a wall — Afanador appears to hit him with his pistol. The beating continues until the teen drops to the ground and is handcuffed.

Medical records showed that the beaten teen lost at least two teeth.

News of the excessive-force investigation surfaced last month amid an uproar over the death of an unarmed man, Eric Garner, during another videotaped arrest in July on Staten Island. The medical examiner ruled that a banned chokehold used by one of the arresting officers contributed to Garner's death.

Afanador, 33, faces up to seven years in prison if convicted of felony assault. Isaac, 36, faces up to a year if convicted of misdemeanor assault. Both have been suspended from the police force.

Cops getting beaten and shot by citizens and criminals #3

Police vs. citizens

Black cop beats citizen

Cops getting beaten and shot by citizens and criminals # 2

Reverse police brutality: cops beaten and shot

When the people fight with police it often ends badly for the officers.

This video is an example of what is happening in America.  Although people are very scared of the police some are willing to fight, shoot and stab cops.

Cops vs citizens and criminals

Police vs. citizens: war on the streets

It is no longer safe to be a police officer in America just like it isn't safe to be a citizen.  Police are executing unarmed people in record numbers and citizens are fighting back and attacking police in record numbers.

With no end in sight expect the violence towards police to continue as long as the police killing of unarmed citizens continues.
