Camden New Jersey man left paralyzed by police brutality sues the department

A Camden man is filing suit against law enforcement officials in the city after his arrest in June left him paralyzed, according to his lawyer.

Man who was left paralyzed by Camden NJ police brutalityDuring his arrest on June 12, officers allegedly stomped on the neck and back of Xavier Ingram, 21, of Camden, causing his current disability from the neck down, according to court filings.

Due to Ingram's injuries sustained during the incident, the Camden County Police Department referred the case for review to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office and an investigation into officer conduct is ongoing.

Additionally, his lawyer claims officers beat and arrested bystander Darren Dickerson after he attempted to intervene on behalf of Ingram.

He was left permanently paralyzed and will never be able to leave a normal life again thanks to dirty Camden New Jersey police officers.
