South Dakota man who attended anti-police brutality rally is shot and killed by police the following day

On 12/21 Allen Locke, 30 of Rapid City, South Dakota  attended an anti-police brutality rally in support for the many victims who have been killed by police so far this year. Little did he know he would meet the same fate.

On 12/22 police were called to a residence to remove the man(Allen Locke).  It is alleged he was holding a knife when police arrived. He was shot five times in the body and head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Captain Dan Rud of the Rapid City Police department said using a taser on Locke was not an option. The shooting is being investigated but it is unlikely the officer will face any disciplinary action for the shooting.
